Mariel Rodriguezwas spotted at Zanjoe Marudo’s Z Cup Golf Tournament last Sunday—one day after she confirmed their break up in an Entertainment Live interview. The ex-couple reiterates though that despite the split up, they remain good friends.
Robin Padilla, who hosted noontime show Wowowee for two weeks, is said to be the cause of the break up. Mariel dismisses the rumor saying, “Sobrang unfair kay Mr. Robin Padilla namadawit sya dito. There’s no third party.”
Mariel reveals that their conflict began after their Asian Cruise last Holy Week, but no one knew about it. “Walang may alam na may pinagdadaanan kami.” But she admits, “Hindi kami mag-kaaway. We’re friends. Sa ngayon, isa pa rin sya sa mga pinaka-close sa akin.”
When asked if there’s a chance that they get back together, Zanjoe confesses, “Ako wala naman akong plano na talagang mawala kami o mapunta ko sa iba, mapunta sya sa iba.” And Mariel leaves a rather open statement, “There’s no bad blood between us. We’re not mad at each other or anything, so anything is possible.”
