Derek Ramsay denies existence of gay sex video

MANILA, Philippines – Derek Ramsay has laughed off a claim that he was videotaped having sex with another man.

Ramsay, whose girlfriend is “Rubi” lead star Angelica Panganiban, categorically denied the existence of his supposed gay sex video. He added that it's easy to determine that he is not the man in the video.

“I have tattoos all over my body na ako lang meron. You can tell [if it’s me in the video]. Angelica can tell. I’m sure she doesn’t want to see the video,” Ramsay said during the press launch of his Century Tuna endorsement.

“Somebody just asked me if I want to see the video and comment. Ayoko. Hindi ko pa napapanood. Huwag na lang. Wala talaga akong ginagawang ganoon. Kahit kamukha ko pa ‘yong nandoon, bakit ko pa titingnan?” he added.

Another hot issue hounding Ramsay, dubbed as the ultimate leading man, is that he is allegedly hiding a wife and child abroad, an intrigue the actor said is absurd. “Wala akong itinatagong asawa sa ibang bansa, anak that I know of.”

Ramsay also pointed out that he is not the first celebrity to be accused of such. “Nagsasabay-sabay ngayon. Si Sam (Milby) nauna, ngayon ako naman. Who’s next?”

What if a marriage contract was produced to support the claim? “Marriage contract? Bring it on!” he confidently replied.

Ramsay surmised that someone probably saw a picture of him cuddling a child and quickly concluded that the child was his.

Derek Ramsay, the new endorser of Century Tuna, denies the existence of his alleged gay sex video.

“I take pictures with kids left and right. May pictures din na may mga fans na humahalik sa akin. I won’t stop doing that and you’ll probably see more of those pictures. That’s who I am with my fans. Sila naman ang reason why I’m here. I want to give back what I can. It’s so hard to believe na something very small can make a fan very happy. Why not do it?” he said.

Amid the intrigues, Ramsay said he would rather focus on his blessings, citing his growing career, his family, girlfriend and friends.

La Greta defended

Ramsay, meanwhile, defended his newest on-screen partner, Gretchen Barretto, from accusation of unprofessionalism at work. Rumor has it that La Greta was always late during tapings for their upcoming teleserye “Magkaribal.”

Ramsay, however, denied the allegations, saying the actress is “the most professional on the set.”

"She's focused. She arrives as Gretchen and when she's on the set she's Victoria (Barretto's character). I really see the effort she's putting in and she's really the one who wants this to push through on June 21," Ramsay said.

"Magkaribal" will premiere on June 21.

Ramsay went on to describe Barretto as a nice person who knows how to listen. "She's really, really nice. Sobrang bait niya sa set. Ang dami niya ding kwento and she really likes to listen to my kwento."

For “Magkaribal,” Barretto and Ramsay had done several love scenes. Ramsay described them as “very steamy,” “rough” and “intense.”

When asked if he was nervous while taping the intimate scenes, Ramsay said: "Oo sobrang, sobrang na napa-shot pa kami bago ‘yon. Sorry that's a lie, more than one shot.”
